Why visit?

Keeps a 1917 seat of rule apart from ancient Tayma.

The old amirate house in Tayma is known as Qasr Ibn Ruman. Circulating notices date the build about 1917: a local seat in a town whose layers are far older — Assyrian, Nabataean, Islamic Tayma.

Saudi rule in 1924 is a later chapter in the building's life. The palace is not Haddaj well and not the town wall. The record name is the amirate palace; Ibn Ruman is the living name.
