Why visit?
Fixes a living suq beside the Hukm, without making it all of Najd.
Souq al-Zal sits in al-Dirah, by Qasr al-Hukm and the Masmak. Official notices give it more than a century and about 38580 m2. It sells zal rugs, bisht, swords, oud and what is sold as antiques.
It is a living popular suq in modern Riyadh core, not Najd market as such and not the Masmak fabric. The name is from zal, floor-rugs. Heritage auctions are not archaeological documents.
