Why visit?

Keeps Qassim Marid off Dumat Marid, and the Basra road as a possibility.

Marid in al-Asyah is a Najdi mud palace: wall, towers, majlis in an oasis. The name is shared with Dumat's Marid; the two are not mixed: that is a knoll-fort in Jawf, this a Qassim house.

Some notices give it a post near Ayn Ibn Fuhayd on the Basra Hajj road. That is a function-reading, not a Harbi manzil survey under this palace's name. The pin is approximate.
