Yabrin Oasis (Bride of the Desert)
Located in the southwestern Eastern Province, 90 km جنوب Haradh and 250 km southwest of Al-Ahsa, at the northeastern edge of the Rub' al-Khali (Empty Quarter). Coordinates: 23°15′47″N 48°58′52″E.
Stone Age artifacts, pottery, ancient burials, and walled settlement remains indicate human habitation since prehistoric times.
In 1901–1902 CE, King Abdulaziz Al Saud stayed at Yabrin for 50 days, gathering his men before launching the successful recapture of Riyadh. Today it is a thriving agricultural oasis with 700+ farms, famous for dates and palm groves.
