Stand at the battlefield where the outnumbered Muslims achieved a decisive victory.

The Battle of Badr took place on 17 Ramadan 2 AH (13 March 624 CE). A Muslim force of about 313 men faced a Quraysh army of roughly 1,000 fighters near the wells of Badr northwest of Medina. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Muslims achieved a decisive victory that strengthened the young Muslim community and shifted the balance of power in Arabia.
