Why visit?

Returns al-Muftaha to Abha, and keeps it off al-Basta and Shada.

Al-Muftaha is an Abha quarter on the south bank of the wadi. Some records misplaced it in al-Baha; the correction is Asir, Abha. Its fabric is mentioned from the 13th century AH; later decades made it an arts village: the King Fahd cultural centre and workshops.

It is not al-Basta — an older wadi quarter — and not Qasr Shada. The pin is approximate for the quarter, not for every workshop.
