Al-Qassar is a historic village on Farasan Island, Jazan Province. Heritage Commission file captions on Wikimedia Commons identify the settlement by this name and locate it on the island, which excludes homonymous places abroad.
Coral-stone houses, palm groves and wells form an island economy of limited farming, fishing and, historically, pearling and Red Sea navigation. Bayt al-Rifai is a separate house record. Farasan Islands is an archipelago-level record. Keeping three cards is methodologically cleaner than collapsing them.
