Why visit?
Thawr completes the exit from Makkah: after Hira (revelation) comes Thawr (Hijra). A narrow refuge that sheltered the mission on its most dangerous nights.

The second of two
Tradition preserves how pursuers reached the cave mouth and how God turned them away. Surat al-Tawba immortalizes the companionship in the narrow place. Visitors climb today for reflection—not as a separate rite, but as Hijra geography.
