A square cistern on the Kufa Hajj road near the Iraqi border, between al-Aqaba and al-Qa'. Atlal survey: 28.4 m to a side. The name is from how little flood it holds. The pin is approximate.

Northern Borders Region — Saudi Arabia

Al-Shuqūq in the road-books, al-Shihiyyat in the field. A Darb Zubaydah manzil where Ibn Jubayr found two cisterns full. The pin is approximate; a 1944 marker is not evidenced in this review.

Hail

Hail — Hail Region — Saudi Arabia

A town on Wadi al-Adayri between Aja and Salma. In the 13th century AH the seat of Al Rashid. Airif Fort stands; little remains of Barzan. The card is the town, not one palace.

Jabal Dhiraf and Ghadeer Mathraq

Ash Shamli — Hail Region — Saudi Arabia

A red granite rise and a seasonal pool west of the harra near al-Shamli. The field match to al-Hajari and Yaqut is probable, not inscribed. The pin is an area.

Harrat Kishb and Aslaj Volcano

Al Quwayiyah — Makkah Region — Saudi Arabia

A volcanic field in western Arabia. Aslaj is a cone or flow on its edge. Wahbah crater is assigned to this field in the geological survey. It is not Harrat Khaybar, and not a Jahili site by itself.

Qaisariya Souq

Eastern Region — Saudi Arabia

A covered suq in central Hofuf. The circulating build-date is about 1238/1822. A witness to oasis trade, not the oldest suq in Arabia.

Al-Fadhikh Mosque

Medina — Madinah Region — Saudi Arabia

A mosque in al-Awali, Madinah, also called the Mosque of the Sun. It is tied to pouring out fadikh at the wine-ban, and to the Banu Nadir siege. Both are traditions, not mutually proven.

Al-Rayan Castle

The name al-Rayn Castle in Taif is not established in this review among Taif known forts. It is not raised to a named monument until a local or official warrant appears.

Bin Rushayd Castle

Al-Bahah Region — Saudi Arabia

Bin Rushdan Castle in al-Baha has not been matched in available sources to Qasr Bin Raqush or Bakhrush fort. The name needs local fixing before any picture or building-story.

Burzah Castle

Burzah Castle in Qassim is not established as a separate sourced, sited fort. An earlier image was al-Mashquq: a visual error. Invented defensive copy is removed.

Al-Muftaha Village

Abha — Asir Region — Saudi Arabia

A quarter on the south bank of Wadi Abha, not in al-Baha. Its fabric is spoken of from the 13th century AH; today an arts centre. It is not al-Basta and not Qasr Shada.
